Habitat for Excellence is led by Nathaniel Dotse and Miriam Acquah, seasoned healthcare professionals with over 25 years of combined experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral health needs.

Their leadership is driven by a clear objective: to deliver structured, high-quality care that stabilizes individuals, builds independence, and produces measurable, long-term outcomes.

Together, they have positioned Habitat for Excellence as a specialized provider addressing a critical gap in care, serving individuals who require more than traditional support and benefit from structured, accountable environments. Their approach integrates clinical expertise, operational discipline, and a deep understanding of high-need populations.

Nathaniel Dotse brings expertise in business operations, service delivery, and behavioral health support systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana and a Master of Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is also a Certified CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Instructor, specializing in de-escalation techniques, behavioral management, and staff training, key components in supporting individuals with complex needs.

Miriam Acquah is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Certified Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical background in patient care and behavioral health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central University College and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Her clinical leadership ensures that services are delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with best practices in healthcare.
